Soccer Betting Lines

11/28/2008 - Valencia, Spain (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Valencia has made former Chelsea and Athletic Bilbao left back Asier del Horno available for transfer.

The 27-year-old has started only three matches this season, with two of those appearances coming in the UEFA Cup against FC Copenhagen and Rosenborg.

Since moving to the Mestalla from Chelsea in the summer of 2006, del Horno has made only 12 appearances for Los Che and spent last season on loan with Bilbao.

Coach Unai Emery has preferred to use the Italian Emiliano Moretti at left back and, with Valencia desperate to cut costs, del Horno could he heading back to Athletic Bilbao as it attempts to stave off relegation.

Ivan Helguera could also be heading out away from the club after Emery completed the signing of young Santos defender Thiago Carletto earlier this week for an undisclosed fee.
